Characterization of Allergen Extracts by Dose-Response Studies and by Polyacrylamide Gel Isoelectrofocusing Using the Paper Disc Radioallergosorbent Test as the Assay Method

Abstract

The allergen content of cow dandruff extracts was tested by a paper disc radioallergosorbent method. Some of the allergen extracts were further studied by an isoelectrofocusing technique in polyacrylamide gel. The pI ranges of the allergen-active components were established.
