Note on the Occurrence of Hepatomas in Rats Following the Ingestion of 1,2-Benzanthracene

Abstract
The occurrence of hepatomas in 2 of 6 rats following the ingestion of 1,2-benzanthracene suggests that although the compound may possess negligible carcinogenic activity when painted on the skin or injected subcut., it may have a considerable potency when administered by another route. The degree of carcinogenic activity is not indicated.
