New Type of Multicritical Behavior in a Triangular Lattice Gas Model

Abstract
A Monte Carlo study of a triangular lattice gas model appropriate to monolayers adsorbed on the basal plane of graphite reveals a rich variety of critical and multicritical points including a new, special type of "bicritical" point.
