Abstract

The methods of a previous paper are applied to the evaluation of lattice sums of the form[Formula: see text]Useful transformations result when either r or s is even but not in general when both r and s are odd. A table of the function[Formula: see text]for integral values of t from 5 to 30 is presented. This permits the extension of the method to the cases r = 1, s = 1 and r = 1, s = 3.
