Radiographic Studies of Thalidomide-Induced Malformations in Mice

Abstract
A simple rapid radiographic method is described for analyzing skeltal anomalies of small embryos, such as immature mouse embryos. This technique provided a method for comfirming that thalidomide produces in growing embryos bone malformations comparable to those found in infants of mothers given thalidomide. It is suggested that this technique is appropriate for use in experiments studying other potentially teratogenic drugs.
