Abstract
A 27-year-old male with homosexual psychopathology became essentially adjusted when his severe arterial hypertension was reduced with standard pharmaceutical products. While still on medication, the above mushrooms in granulated, dried state, were administered at different times in doses ranging from 0.5 g to 1.5 g. The psychoneurophysiologic effect of P. venenosus was clearly different from that of Psilocybe caerulescens. The Panaeolus was mainly stimulatory (euphoriant). From clinical observation it appears as if the chemical content or arrangement in Panaeolus may be found significantly different from those of Psilocybe whose effects were mainly hallucinogenic and depressant.
