Abstract
The Board of Trustees submits to the House of Delegates for its information the following report on the progress made by the Council on Health Manpower since its creation by the Board in April 1968 with the mandate to "conduct a continuing review of the relationships between medicine and the health related professions and services in order to assure the most effective utilization of these services in the rendition of health care." The report indicates the consensus achieved on broad and specific questions and is derived in large measure from the deliberations and detailed reports of the Council's Committees on these same questions. Committees of Council Present Committees of the Council are Committee on Emerging Health Manpower and Physicians' Assistant, Committee on Foreign Medical Graduates, Committee on the Health Team, Committee on Licensure, and Committee on Liaison.
