Recherches expérimentales de la dysphonie spastique

Abstract

Terminology and spasmodical dysphonia are described. Methods of experimental research: photospectrographical registrations, X-rays, electromyogram, spirometrical and pneumotachographical investigations, electroencephalogram as well as examination of the neurovegetative system are discussed. The role of electro-stimulation of the cerebral cortex during stereotactical operations is also mentioned. The author makes suggestions for the nomenclature of spasmodical dysphonia and the clinical classification of voice disturbances.
