Abstract
Calculations made by various authors on the antiproton flux in the primary cosmic radiation have been checked and compared, using the average multiplicity of antiprotons in p+p collisions, and the reasons for the difference in their results are given. Based on this knowledge, the antiproton to proton ratio has been re-estimated. The experimental results obtained by Golden et al. (1979) and Bogomolov et al. (1979) are difficult to reconcile with the authors' calculations. The implication of the discrepancy is discussed. Keywords
