On the Cubic Law of Oxidation

Abstract
Experimental and theoretical studies are reviewed to indicate that a cubic law of oxidation occurs at low temperatures. Data for tantalum and titanium have been presented to indicate that this growth law may apply to more metals than suspected in the past.Keywords
