Über Emulsin. XVII. Einwirkung von Ozon auf Mandelemulsin.

Abstract
The [beta]-glucosidase of emulsin is destroyed by ozone. The trypto-phane content of the enzyme preparation decreases parallel with the glucosidase activity. The activity toward salicin, phenyl-[beta]-d-glucoside, phenyl-[beta]-d-isorhamno-side, and phenyl-[beta]-d-galactoside is lost at the same rate. but the ability to split phenyl-[alpha]-of-mannoside is lost more rapidly than the [beta]-glucosidase activity.
