Abstract
Perturbation analysis is applied to calculate the radiation loss from corrugated waveguides for TM polarized guided waves. It is shown that the radiated power is strongly dependent upon radiation angle. A significant drop in output radiation occurs for radiation normal to the waveguide. Numerical results for waveguide structures having rectangular and sinusoidal corrugation profiles are included. Keywords
