Abstract
The inelasticity or Placzek correction developed in an earlier paper is applied to D2O, using a quantum mechanical model in which the dynamical part of the time dependent rotational correction function is that of a sphere. The corrected data show the required asymptotic behavior for large q. No adjustable parameters are used. Keywords
