Quantitative Unspiked Argon Runs in K-Ar Dating

Abstract

The radiogenic ⁴⁰Ar contents of three whole-rocks less than 1.5 m.y. old have been determined using ³⁸Ar as the tracer and also from unspiked runs. The agreement in results between the two methods is excellent.
