Sexual rehabilitation has been identified by the Oncology Nurses Society, the American Nurses Association, and various other health care organizations as an expected aspect of care for patients. Addressed in this article are the following questions: who involved in the patient's care should be participating in sexual rehabilitation, what are barriers to this involvement, and how might they be overcome?
