Abstract
Isobaric analog resonances are identified in the reaction . A calculation of the cross section based on adding the scattering matrix elements for direct stripping (obtained from distorted-wave Born approximation) and for compound-nucleus formation (from -matrix theory) fits the data near the resonance at 11.43 MeV well.
