Abstract
A conc., of 10-6 gms. pure crystalline adermin hydrochloride per liter of medium was found optimum for growth of Bacterium acetylcholini, Streptobacterium plantarum, and Bacterium utile (Henneberg). The following compounds in various concns. and combinations did not replace adermin: inosite, l-asparagin, ([beta])-alanine, aneurin, nicotinic acid, pimelic acid, creatine, urea, uric acid, adenine, xanthine, guanine, uracil, and d, l-methionine.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
