Development and Survivorship of the Citrus Blackfly Aleurocanthus woglumi 1 on Six Citrus Hosts 2

Abstract

We measured developmental time and survivorship of Aleurocanthus woglumi Ashby on grapefruit (Citrus paradisi Macf.), lemon (C. limon Burm. f.), lime (C. aurantifolia Swingle), orange C. sinesis Osbeck), tangelo (C. x. Tangelo) and tangerine (C. reticulata Blanco). No significant differences were observed in the developmental times among the plants tested. Survivorship of A. woglumi was significantly (PPA. woglumi development and therefore less suitable for use in research work.
