Abstract
The cochlear action potential depression and cochlear microphonic potential augmentation observed during contra-lateral olivo-cochlear bundle stimulation are greatest at low intensity and low frequency acoustic stimulation. Physiological mechanisms responsible for these results are proposed. A plausible model of cochlear microphonic augmentation is presented. Keywords
