Computer-predicted performance of corrugated conical feeds using experimental primary-radiation patterns

Abstract

Five X band corrugated conical feeds of varying half flare angle and constant flare length have been built and their radiation patterns measured. These data have been fed into a computer program to produce curves of gain factor and spillover for various F/D-ratio parabolas.
