Abstract
Experimental data on the propagation characteristics of a sound wave which couples mechanical and electric displacements are obtained and analyzed to yield the polarization relaxation time and the dielectric susceptibility as a function of temperature in both the paraelectric and ferroelectric regions. The results are compared with the results of other types of measurements and related to a previously described model of ferroelectricity in this crystal. Keywords
