Abstract
The basal cell carcinomas of the skin are widely treated with curettage combined with electrodesiccation. Curettage is also, on an experimental basis, used in combination with antineoplastic agents in form of ointments. Studies of basal cell carcinomas solely treated with curettage have not been reported in the literature. With the object of providing a control group which may be used in the assessment of the methods of treatment in which curettage is involved, preliminary results of treatment of a total of 178 patients having 338 basal cell carcinomas with curettage have been obtained. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
