Abstract
The frequency of nonlinear free oscillations is investigated in the following one‐dimensional situations: (1) cold plasma including ion motion; (2) plasma with a spread in the velocity distribution; and (3) the two‐stream case. In each case a dependence of the frequency on the degree of nonlinearity is obtained.Keywords
