Abstract
The effect of different test and measuring conditions (location of the VHF/UHF capacitive coupler, gas pressure, test voltage and detection frequency on digital pattern recognition is studied for discharge patterns as observed for a bouncing particle and a floating electrode in SF/sub 6/ insulation.Keywords
