Lee model and three-particle equations

Abstract

It is shown that the amplitudes for the processes $V+\theta \to V+\theta$, $V+\theta \to N+2\mathrm{}\theta$, and $N+2\mathrm{}\theta \to N+2\mathrm{}\theta$ in the Lee model can be obtained from the solution of an Amado-Lovelace type of three-particle equation. Furthermore, the solution of this three-particle equation can be obtained in closed form.
