Effect of Crystalline Trypsin on the Raw Soybean Growth Inhibitor

Abstract
Crystalline trypsin, added to chick diets which contained 5% of protein furnished as raw soybean meal and 15% as cooked soybean meal, improved the rate of gain of the chicks. The effect is attributed to inactivation, at least in part, of the anti-trypsin present in the raw soybean meal.
