Abstract
Summary: A highly purified vaccine prepared from surface antigens of influenza virus adsorbed on to aluminium hydroxide has elicited good antibody results to both haemagglutinin and neuraminidase components, and has been shown to induce resistance to homotypic challenge at a satisfactorily high level.
