Abstract
C. Stern, 1926, presented the first case, viz., an attachment close to the bobbed locus of the Y to the inner end of the X. Muller, 1929, gave additional evidence of attachment points and new evidence of numerous breakage points from the abundance of cases of translocations and deletions produced by x-rays. Both emphasize direct cytological confirmation of the validity of the position of a gene shown in a linkage map. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
