The assimilation of aluminium by the human system

Abstract

The quartz spectrograph was used to estimate Al in the ash of tissues. Normal blood contains none or only a very small amount. Aluminium appears in the blood following ingestion of Al-containing food. It passes into the milk in lactating animals.
