Abstract
Inbred albino guinea-pigs, aged 100 days, were killed by bleeding and the wts. of various lymph nodes, thymus and spleen were weighed. To estimate the amt. of lymphoid tissue in the spleen, nucleic acid phosphorus content was detd. in 4 [female][female] and 4 [male][male]. As in a previous investigation, the mean thymus wt. was greater in [female][female] , and the author concludes, apparently without statistic tests, that in young mature guinea-pigs, the total amt. of lymph node tissue and splenic lymphatic tissue is greater in [female][female] than in [male][male], whereas body wt. and wts. of liver and kidney are the same in both sexes.
