Abstract
The pathological changes produced in the bile ducts and livers of mice were in some respects similar to those produced in the other susceptible animals, and icterus was a usual symptom. In the experimental mice severe pleural effusions and pulmonary oedema were often the cause of death. Previously, sporidesmin-induced thoracic lesions have been seen only in rats and, to a lesser degree, in chickens.
