Abstract
An experimental technique was devised to determine effective renal plasma flow [in humans], using the .gamma. scintillation camera. This involved a computer analysis of the first 3 min of the renal histogram and did not require serum or urine collections. This technique was not sufficiently accurate to provide an exact value of plasma flow, but it was used to provide an approximate value and hence used as a screening tool.
