Non-Reggeization of the Vector Meson

Abstract
Nucleon-antinucleon scattering is treated in a field theory of interacting vector mesons and spin-½ or spin-0 "nucleons." Some involved cancellations in the asymptotic sixth-order amplitudes are demonstrated and disagreements in earlier papers are resolved. It is found that the vector-meson singularity in the partial-wave amplitudes is unaffected and that therefore the vector meson does not lie on a Regge trajectory to this order.
