Abstract
The Coulomb scattering, Compton scattering, bremsstrahlung, and pair production of charged particles of spin one is investigated, in comparison with spin zero and one-half. The singular role of the longitudinal meson degree of freedom in high-energy processes is emphasized. The pair production of charged vector mesons of unit and zero magnetic moment is calculated in Weizsäcker-Williams approximation and compared with the cross section for their production by neutrinos. Keywords
