SUSCEPTIBILITY OF PSEUDOMONAS POLYCOLOR TO PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA BACTERIOPHAGES

Abstract

Two cultures of Pseudomonas polycolor PP2 received from different laboratories and one culture of P. polycolor NCTC 9433 have nearly identical typing patterns when tested with 20 P. aeruginosa bacterio-phages. The results indicate that P. aeruginosa and P. polycolor are indistinguishable by bacteriophage typing as well as by other methods.
