Abstract
A high voltage attenuator has been developed and tested that is capable of maintaining pulse rise times of less than 300 psec. Pulse amplitudes to 5 kV may be attenuated by a factor of 16, allowing the use of high speed, lower voltage commercial attenuators for reduction of the pulses to oscilloscope levels. The mechanical and electrical design maintains an impedance of 50 Ω.Keywords
