Abstract
The spectrum of C has been measured from 3.0μ to 10.5μ and three regions of absorption were observed. These bands with centers at 2992.8 , 3103.7 , 2259.0 , and 995.86 have been identified as , , , and by analogy with C. The line spacings obtained from these bands in C are ; , ; as compared with 5.3 , 13.5 , 9.77 and 5.41 for the same bands in C. Values for the of Johnston and Dennison have been obtained and are as follows: and . Utilizing the line spacings given above and the expression
