Studies of the oxidation of ferrous ions in an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid irradiated with roentgen rays were carried out in order to use this system for routine dose measurements. Quantitation of variation in measurements caused by temperature, concentration of sulfuric acid and total dose was investigated.
