SURFACE EFFECTS AND LOW FREQUENCY LOSSES IN HARD SUPERCONDUCTORS

Abstract
The power dissipation in a hard superconductor based on a model consisting of a bulk flux pinning region and a surface sheath is calculated. The results indicate that the losses are somewhat greater than previously calculated.Keywords
