Abstract
A new concept for a standard element which is able to perform bipolar current amplification is presented. Two basic network configurations that give an output current directly proportional to the input current are introduced. The current gain of each configuration is adjustable by two resistors. This new versatile circuit has been called the ‘translinear operational current amplifier’ (TOCA).Keywords
