Organic Compounds in Carbonaceous Chondrites

Abstract
The hypothesis presented here, that the organic matter in carbonaceous chondrites formed in the solar nebula under conditions of thermodynamic equilibrium, certainly accounts for most of the organic compounds identified thus far. Further calculations and experiments will show whether it can account for all the organic compounds in meteorites, or whether additional nonequilibrium or biological processes must be postulated.This publication has 21 references indexed in Scilit:
