Mixed protein-pantothenic acid deficiencies produced a severe hyperchromic anemia in 70% of a group of rats. The bone marrow of these animals showed an erythroblastic reaction, and also a small number of uery young cells of the proerythroblastic type.[long dash]Gunnar Steensholt.
