Abstract
Er:YAG glass ceramics were developed in the CaO-Y2O3-Al2O3-SiO2 system. The obtained glass ceramics showed much broader emission linewidth than the polycrystalline Er:YAG, whose infrared emission band extends to U-band with many separated sharp lines. Keywords
