Abstract
Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) granulocytes from 4 patients with bacterial meningitis were tested for rosette formation with sheep erythrocytes (E), a standard assay for T lymphocytes. CSF granulocytes from all patients formed E rosettes, although to a varying degree (66, 63, 17 and 2%, respectively). E rosettes could not be demonstrated with granulocytes from peripheral blood from the patient with 66% E-rosette-forming granulocytes in the CSF.Keywords
