Zur Dickenmessung stäbchenförmiger Objekte in der Elektronenmikroskopie

Abstract

For determination of the diameter and the form of little rods in electron micrographs it is proposed to measure the breadth of rod and shadow together, vertical to the axis of the rod, together with the angle of azimuth. Formulas for evaluation are given. A number which is characteristic for the form of the cross section is given. Examples which illustrate the method are reported and its usefulness discussed.
