Spontaneous Encephalomyelitis of Mice—A New Virus Disease

Abstract
Measurement of the CO2 exchange at 3-hr. intervals for periods of 2-5 days gave evidence that the daily cycle or rhythm of "respiration" was more irregular in the case of plants in a reproductive condition than when the same species or variety was making only a vegetative growth. The regularity of CO2 exchange varied with the growth quality and not the environment in the case of photoperiodic plants.
