Abstract
We report the first case, to our knowledge, of phacoemulsification with lens implantation in a patient with previous photorefractive keratectomy for myopia. Intraocular lens calculations were performed using manual and automated keratometry. The surgical and postoperative course were uneventful with a good visual outcome. Standard intraocular lens calculation and surgical technique appear to be successful for cataract extraction after photorefractive keratectomy. Keywords
