Abstract
A specific soluble substance which will combine with the nephrotoxic antibody of anti-rat kidney serum was obtained in soln. Anti-rat kidney serum thus absorbed is no longer nephrotoxic. The material was liberated into soln. by digesting rat kidney with trypsin at pH 8. Trypsin activity was excluded as being the protective substance. The specific soluble substance was not precipitated by centrifuging at 35,000 rpm for 120 min. Keywords
