Abstract
Theoretical calculations indicate that the unbalanced component of current on a two‐wire or shielded‐pair transmission line can be determined by comparing the different standing‐wave distributions on the line conductors. The measurement of reflected components from an unbalanced radiative termination on a slotted shielded‐pair line is described. The existence of a condition of minimum unbalanced reflected component from end‐coupled antennas is shown experimentally. Keywords
