Complexes d'hematoporphyrine IX avec le platine(II): synthese, intermediaires, spectres, interet biologique

Abstract
The platinum–porphyrin (HPPt) complex was prepared from hematoporphyrin IX (HPH2) and potassium chloroplatinate(II). An intermediate complex was isolated corresponding to the formula HPH2•PtCl2. U.v., visible, and i.r. spectra of the complexes are obtained and are discussed. The complex HPH2•PtCl2 is the first intermediate identified in these reactions. A biological application of this intermediate for the treatment of tumors is sought.
